Sometimes love comes into your life when you least expect it. Sara and John didn't meet at a party, or a bar, or the gym. They met at a school... But not as fellow students. Sara was Soren's teacher when they first met. Their connection was immediate, but the circumstances were a bit awkward at first. Smiles were exchanged, flirtations escalated, but both were hesitant to take things further since Sara was Soren's teacher. Then, fate swooped in when Sara was offered a job at another school. Once that barrier was removed, John immediately asked Sara out on a date. It was love at first sight, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Their engagement came a little more than a year later while Sara and John were vacationing in Delray Beach, Florida. Sara had an intuition that the engagement was about to happen, and John spent days (and considerable energy) trying to convince Sara that was not the case. After finally convincing Sara that the engagement wasn't happening, John dropped to one knee in the sand and proposed to Sara by the ocean. Ironically, Sara had lost her contacts on the stroll to the ocean and couldn't see three feet in front of her face. Consequently, she now thought John was kidding about his proposal. John convinced Sara that it was for real, and the rest is history.
